Walkers:Santiago de Compostela

The pilgrimage route from Vézelay to Santiago de Compostela is one of the most well-known and popular routes of the famous pilgrimage. This Via Lemovicencis, as it is officially called, runs from Vézelay to Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port over a distance of 1100 km. On the section from Limoges to Perigueux, you'll find the little village of Sorges. Just outside the village is the garden of Santiago de Compostela, which is signposted in the village. Also just outside the village, a short distance from the route, is our accommodation with a special stay for walkers. We welcome walkers and/or cyclists on the Santiago de Compostela route.

For this, we have set up a studio: Studio-gîte: La Ficelle.

This is a specially designed studio for walkers and/or travellers passing through.

We also realise that many walkers travel with their pets, so pets are very welcome here.

This studio-gîte (max. 2 people) is equipped with 2 single beds, a private bathroom with toilet, shower and washbasin.

There is a fridge, a fully equipped kitchen and an electric hob.

There is also the possibility to dry clothes, secure bike storage, and a special bed for pets.

After a good night's sleep, you can easily continue on the marked Santiago de Compostela route through our back garden.

Upon notification, we can serve 2 types of breakfast in the gîte.

Provide a Classic breakfast at € 7.50 per person (between 07:30 and 09:00hrs) reserve when booking;

  • 1/2 baked baguette
  • yoghurt
